CULTIVATION
In order to be able to meet our own high standards for quality in relation to the options for processing and to best meet the demands of our customers carrots are sourced from our own cultivation programme in the vicinity of our factory. All the growers affiliated to our company are Eurep Gap/Global Gap certified in order to be able to guarantee the highest possible product quality to our customers.
PROCESSING
After washing, the carrots are peeled, making them a semi-finished product which is then stored in various types of preservative solutions. Immediately prior to delivery to customers the product will be cut according to final specifications and can be supplied in various grades or sizes according to customers wishes: 3x3x3, 6x6x6, 9x9x9, 12x12x12. This may be in straight cut slices or with a serrated edge.
PACKAGING
Nearly all our carrots are supplied to customers in large 220 litre vessels. Other types of packaging, such as for example our pouch packs or drums may however also be used.
CUSTOMER BASE
Our customers are mainly to be found in the convenience foods sector, the food-processing and preservation industry and among sauce producers both at home and abroad.
