QUALITY ASSURANCE
Many years of experience has resulted in Crop Alliance products to be of an excellent and constant quality.
Cultivation control
Crop Alliance has quality at the top of its priority list. Quality is a vitally important factor in every link of the chain, from raw material to final product. That is why Crop Alliance is very closely involved in the cultivation process and where possible has even taken over control of the actual cultivation of vegetables.
Crop Alliance has a working relationship stretching back many years with fruit and vegetable growers who operate according to a controlled cultivation programme and who try, where possible, to anticipate and stay ahead of new legislation and regulations. The minimum that we can guarantee is that our cultivation has been carried out in accordance with the guidelines of Global Gap or other comparable foreign hallmark standards.
Tracking and tracing
As the entire chain is important, and because we wish to know increasingly more about the origins and processing of products, tracking and tracing has become a hot topic afforded increasing attention. Due to further advances in automation and computerisation the accessibility of data has become even greater and more detailed. Almost all the necessary details are now available to us at the flick of a switch. Considering the increasing demands posed by developments in legislation and regulation, Crop Alliance has opted to adopt a protective attitude to avoid our systems being overtaken or superseded by the newest developments in legislation and regulation.
Production control
Quality also remains an important item in the production process. In order to safeguard quality standards, testing and monitoring is carried out from the moment that raw materials enter the production process to the moment that the final product is delivered.
Certification
Crop Alliance has a BRC-certificat, GLOBALGAP-certificat, Kosher certificat and is HACCP-Certified. These are recognised international standards for food safety.
