In this turbulent time when the Coronavirus (Covid-19) floats around, Crop Alliance wishes everyone good health!
We would like to inform you that our attention is intensively focused on the consequences that the Corona virus can and will possibly have and already has. Effects first of all on the supply of products. At present there is no information at Crop Alliance that raw materials from risk areas are not or less available.
- At the moment there are no bottlenecks in the supply chain of our products;
- No problems are foreseen for our deliveries in the near future;
- The supply of our raw materials is guaranteed for the coming months.
We continuously monitor the situation. Our business continuity plan will be systematically adjusted based on the available information.
We keep a close eye on the recommendations of The Netherlands National Institute for Public Health and the Environment and follow this up in order to minimize the risk of contamination at Crop Alliance. In addition, we have taken a series of additional measures aimed at protecting the health of our colleagues and customers in order to prevent further spreading.
We have made all our staff aware of the precautions to be taken and the good practices to adopt.
As a preventive measure, we have limited access to our plant by external persons.
Lorry drivers are not allowed in the building, and there is no physical contact with our staff.
At this specific moment the delivery of Crop Alliance products is not in danger. Given the high degree of uncertainty, the situation can change at any time. This event falls outside the control of Crop Alliance and is a case of force majeure.
There is worldwide hoarding; we still have enough supplies of silverskin onions (pearl onions) and vegetables!
Be careful and stay healthy!
